Character: Abbey is a very sweet 2 year old lurcher / whippet with an adorable personality. She came onto the rescue from a pound in January with a few injuries that she is being treated for. She is expected to make a good recovery but she is likely to have a permanent limp.
Abbey is very affectionate with people, including strangers, and is generally happy to be around other dogs. She has not been cat tested, but since the breed tends to have a high prey drive, she is not likely to be cat friendly. She travels very nicely in a car.
Abbey is neutered and has had her first vaccinations. She is also flea and worm treated.
Type of home required: Abbey is looking for a kind, relaxed home with someone who is around for much of the day to keep her company. She would also enjoy the company of another calm dog. She would make a fabulous gentle companion for that special someone.
Abbey is currently being assessed in her foster home and further details will be added as we get to know her better.
